2019 SENIOR FREEZE filing EXTENSION
The filing deadline for the 2019 Senior Freeze ( Property Tax Reimbursement) application has been extended
to February 1, 2021
Township Offices are currently closed to the public. You may reach a member of the Tax Office via e-mail or telephone Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.
Cash payments for property taxes, PILOT taxes, sewer utility taxes, water/sewer assessments and dog licensing will not be accepted by the Tax Office until further notice.
2020 Final/2021 Preliminary Tax bills were mailed the week of September 7th. If you have not received your bill, please contact the Tax Office to request a copy. 4th quarter payment is due on or before November 1. The 10-day grace period to pay taxes without interest penalty ends November 10. Any payment received after November 10 will accrue interest penalties from the statutory due date of November 1. Automatic Withdrawal payments will be processed November 6.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the State has placed funding for Homestead Credits in reserve to meet emergency and statutorily required obligations. Therefore, Homestead Credits will not be applied to the 2nd or 4th Qtr. 2020 property taxes.
Property Tax and PILOT payments are due February 1, May 1, August 1 and November 1. Autowithdrawal Payments will be processed on the 6th day of the month they are due. There is a 10-day grace period for all payments. If payment is received after the grace period, interest will accrue from the statutory due date.
Property tax payments can be mailed to the address noted below; paid through your bank’s bill paying service (please allow sufficient time for your payment to reach the Tax Office); placed in the dropbox, available 24/7, at the entrance of Town Hall; on-line at https://www.holmdeltownship-nj.com/368/Online-Payments
PILOT payments can be mailed to the address noted below; paid through your bank’s bill paying service (please allow sufficient time for your payment to reach the Tax Office); placed in the dropbox, available 24/7, at the entrance of Town Hall.
Requests for Sr. Freeze PTR1 or PTR2 Forms can be made by calling the Tax Office or via e-mail. If e-mailing your request , please indicate if you need a PTR1 or PTR2 form; the name and address of the property; if you own 100% of the property either alone or with a spouse; if you own the property with someone other than a spouse, what % do you own. We will print and mail the form when completed.
